An Interview with Greg Peck
How long have you been doing what you do and how did you get to be a health & wellness coach and life coach?
Although I have been certified as a health & wellness coach and life coach for several years, my coaching began way before that.
My journey to coaching started long ago as I forged a career in the recording industry as a promotion and marketing executive. Over the 23 years that I was in the music business, I went from an entry level position to rising to Senior Vice President at Warner Bros Records. I hired, built and mentored staff across the US and coached and instructed others to do their best at work.
After my time within the recording industry came to a close, I decided to follow a lifelong passion of health and wellness and became a personal trainer. I have now been fitness training for over 20 years. I have trained multiple populations of people including women, men, seniors, children, pre- and post-natal women as well as professional athletes.
Having spent as much time as I have fostering relationships, guiding careers and inspiring others at work and in their health, I have integrated my passion for physical, emotional and mental health into coaching.
How are you different from other health coaches?
While I can’t speak for how others do their job, I will tell you how I do mine. In order to be a good coach, you have to have a keen insight into the psyche of others. From how they think to what is their best learning style.
I come from an athletic background having played football in high school and college. Sports are all about how you motivate yourself and others. I know how to motivate my clients on a very deep level while creating relationships that go way beyond the surface.
My combination of executive experience, personal training and personal coaching provides me with a keen insight into the human condition. I can show you how to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be—mentally, physically and emotionally to thrive in life.
What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?
I work best with people that are not afraid to take a deep look within themselves and want to aspire to live a life full of mental and physical engagement. My best clients enjoy collaboration and are open minded to seek new ways to reach the pinnacle of the life they feel they deserve and aren’t afraid to learn something new. I really enjoy people that are not shy about sharing their dreams and aspirations for wanting to live a healthier and rewarding life. They are excited about their potential and want to get there and don’t like to waste time trying to figure it out by themselves.
For what type of person are your programs NOT going to work?
My programs will not work for people that are complacent and that accept the status quo. If you are not a person that wants to be the best person they can be or are willing to work towards it, there is no use signing up with me. We will both end up frustrated.
What exactly is your Coaching Program and what does it include?
My program instructs my clients on making smart decisions on what they put in their bodies, minds and souls. Transitions come from a collaboration of minds with a single purpose, the best life possible, focusing on the steps that lead to lasting and fulfilling change. We will take deep dives into what makes you tick and prosper as an individual. This is not a cookie cutter approach. My program is for you and you alone.
